Expanding Horizons for All Riders
Bright Horizons Therapeutic Riding Center exists to improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of individuals and their families through therapeutic equestrian activities built on professionalism and trust with a focus on community education, communication and teamwork.
Founded in 2004, Bright Horizons Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We are a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH) member facility with an
active Board of Directors
and many dedicated volunteers.
In March 2017, Bright Horizons became a Premier Accredited Center with PATH Intl. See press release
Amy Cline is our Executive Director and Marla Bowman is our PATH-certified instructor and Program Director. Both

quality programs guided by the Bright Horizons mission statement.
We are located at Walker Farms
, two miles east of Siletz, Oregon. The facility includes a 10-stall barn with a heated
viewing room, tack room and coverd 100' x 100' riding arena. We also have access to an outdoor arena and outdoor riding
trails, in addition to pasture turnout for the horses.

Who We Serve
Bright Horizons serves a broad range of enthusiastic and hardworking riders. Although the majority of our
programs are designed for riders with special needs, we also offer classes for able-bodied, independent
and advanced riders.
Focused on Community Service
Our staff and volunteers are available to conduct a variety of educational and awareness programs that help
support our primary mission. These programs include field trips, equine-awareness opportunities for
challenged youth, public speaking engagements, and other types of community-based events. Our annual fundraiser,
Hearts for Horses
, supports our programs.
