PollyH Professional Services

Are you a Certified Professional

Bright Horizons is always interested in working with professionals willing to lend their specific expertise towards helping to sustain and build our organization.  Note: previous horse experience is not required.

Healthcare Professionals

Bright Horizons is in the early stages of forming a Healthcare Provider Advisory Board.  Licensed healthcare professionals (e.g., MDs, PAs, RNs, PTs, OTs) are invited to contact us regarding their interest in helping us to develop a strategic plan for increasing the types and kinds of equine-assisted services that we are able to provide.

Bright Horizons is also interested in hearing from local PTs or OTs who might be interested in conducting Hippo Therapy at our riding center. Bright Horizons believes there is an underserved demand for this type of therapy in our local area. Although horse familiarity would be helpful, previous riding experience is not a prerequisite. (Hippo Therapy is conducted by a team comprised of: a qualified therapist, a PATH International-certified instructor, plus other volunteer assistants as needed.)

Accounting / Book-keeping Services

Are you a QuickBooks guru, or do you have other finance-related expertise and experience? If so, Bright Horizons is looking for qualified individuals willing to donate (2) to (3) hours per week working under the guidance and direction of one of our board members.

Legal Services

Trademarks, service marks, lease agreements, donation documentation, estate giving, insurance policy reviews, etc.  All of these things are items with which the organization would appreciate pro bono assistance.

Website Designer / Developer

Are you web savvy and interested in donating your talent to a really good cause? If so, we have need for someone to design and maintain our website, plus maintain our Facebook page.  Maybe even setting up a Twitter account so that our riders can follow their favorite horse!
