Board Member, Kim Herring
Kim was born on the Oregon Coast and while growing up on a farm enjoyed trail rides on her own horses. After many years away she recently moved back to the Coast and now works as an administrative assistant for Lincoln County. With a firm belief in volunteering for causes that matter, she started volunteering for Bright Horizons in 2012.
Board Member, Lalori Lager

Lalori Lager is the Executive Director of ReConnections Alcohol and Drug Counseling in Lincoln County, Oregon. She has a Masters Degree in Forensic Pyschology with a Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences. Lalori currently sits on the Lincoln County Drug and Hope Court Team and her company contracts to Lincoln County Community Corrections, Department of Human Services, Lincoln County Juvenile Department and numerous other community organizations. Her previous board experience is with the Lincoln County Children's Advocacy Center and she currently sits on the CAC fund raising committe. Lalori is very involved with her husband's fishing boat business and feels like she has a connections to the fishing community as they own two commercial fishing vessels. She also volunteers with the Fisherman's Wives when needed. She has three children; Karisa, Dakota and Dayton.
Board Member, Kristin Politano

Kristin Politano, a benthic ecologist, works for OSU's Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport. She grew up riding and showing horses but had little experience with therapeutic riding before became a volunteer at Bright Horizons in 2011. She can be found most Saturdays at the barn, working with the horses and riders.

Alan was raised on a farm in the valley. His family used horses for work, not so much for pleasure. Alan is an Attorney At Law in Newport.
Board Member, Mary Anne
Shipley

Mary Anne retired and moved to the Logsden area after 45 years of living and working in Honolulu, HI. There she owned and operated a surf shop and a restaurant, and raised two children. For the last 4 years she has volunteered with the Senior Companion Program in Lincoln County. Presently volunteering for Bright Horizons.
Board Member, Lindy Stevens

Lindy Stevens recently retired from her career in special education so that she could pursue her interest in equine therapy. Lindy came to Lincoln County after vacationing on the Oregon coast during Summer 2000 and deciding to stay. She has been employed as a Learning Specialist with Lincoln County School District and more recently in the Early Intervention program in Newport.
Board Member, Kristin Yuille

Kristin Yuille moved to Lincoln County in 2008 and serves as one of the County's attorneys. Kristin grew up in the Midwest where she learned to ride horses while working as a counselor at a YMCA camp. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University. Before becoming an attorney, Kristin was a research scientist at Pfizer for six years in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is dedicated to serving the community and volunteers for several non-profit organizations.
